My all time favorite Pole Pedal Paddle moment...

2007 was my first PPP as a spectator and it was easy to see why people enjoy the event so much. The majority of my day was spent on the footbridge by the Old Mill watching kayakers. My favorite part was watching people try to paddle upstream in boats that were not made for that type of activity! We watched one couple in a rubber raft get stuck for about 30 minutes.

The best aspect of the U.S. Bank Pole Pedal Paddle is...

In my opinion it's the community feel that you get. Everybody is down there and it's not just an event for the elite athlete. It truly is a citywide race. Young and old, big and small, fit and not so fit, it doesn't seem to matter.
